Our Volunteers – Honoring the Dignity of Those We Serve
Join us for one hour, one day or every day!

      Make a Difference by Volunteering…
CR welcomes teams of volunteers as well as qualified individuals.

There are a variety of ways you, your company or your civic organization can help the people served by Community Residences. We need your time and talent. Whether you can spare one hour or a hundred hours, CR appreciates your help and interest.

Join our team of caring volunteers and make a difference in a neighbor’s life!

CR offers a variety of volunteer opportunities to members of our communities:

Volunteer Teams are usually sponsored by a company or association and generally work to improve our homes.  Our residents feel remembered and valued as important members of the community when their neighbors pitch in to beautify their grounds, paint their rooms, or contribute to the general maintenance of their home.  Individuals sometimes help in these same ways according to their own schedule and abilities.

Individuals also work as clinical interns in several of our programs.  Qualifying as a clinical intern requires certain credentials and recommendations, and is an enormously rewarding and enriching experience for those seeking to contribute substantially to the care and empowerment of people with disabilities and/or mental illnesses.

Interns are also utilized for administrative functions, especially at our Chantilly office.  This offers interested and committed volunteers a chance to positively contribute to the lives of our consumers without needing to qualify for clinical work.

Please contact Rock Schuler if you, your company or your group would be interested in becoming a hands-on partner with Community Residences.  Thank you!

If you prefer to contribute to our organization by making a donation, please visit our online donation page.
